Short answer: a software developer, a retro enthusiast and (every ten years ;-)) a writer

As far as I can remember, I have always been a software developer, from an early age.
In 1982, at the age of eight, I saw the Commodore VIC 20 advertisement on television and I was struck by it: that was my future!
And indeed it was: at today, for me, to develope software is not just a job, but it is an unparalleled fun!
A few years later I got my first computer, the humble Commodore 16, and then moved on to the Commodore 64, the Amiga, the 286, the 486 and then dozens of machines for work.
But at some point the sickness of the "good old days" peeped out and from that moment I started to use and collect retro computing material as if there was no tomorrow :-)
As soon as I can I use mine machines, and I develop mainly in assembly for the MOS 6502 family microprocessors.
I am a founder (with seven other obsessed guys) of "Varese Retrocomputing", an association in my city that deals with retro & co.
Another passion is writing but, between work and retro computing, time is always short so I produced "The irresistible charm of Commodore" in 2012 and later (but I will never finish it...) a dystopian novel, "If it's not this love"..
This site mainly contains retro material, I hope that it will be a source of joy for anyone who passes here!
